HOW TO CARE

Before using your bag for the first time, it’s important to give it the right protection. The most important step is to apply a leather protector before first use.

Leather protector

  1. Shake well before use. 
  2. Hold the spray 10 – 20 cm away from the leather surface.  
  3. Spray evenly across the bag.  
  4. Allow to dry for 2 minutes.  
  5. Wipe gently with a clean cloth.

Note: Reapply the water repellent each time after using the cleaner. 

Regular maintenance

Keeping your leather bag in top condition doesn’t have to be difficult. With consistent care, you can preserve its appearance, texture, and longevity. Regular maintenance helps remove surface dust, prevent stains, and protect the material from everyday wear. By following a few simple steps, like wiping, conditioning, and storing properly - you’ll ensure your smooth leather bag stays looking polished, supple, and beautiful for years to come.

Cleaner

  1. Shake the bottle well before use.  
  2. Spray the leather cleaner evenly onto the leather surface.  
  3. Allow the leather to dry for 30 minutes.  
  4. Wipe the leather with a clean cloth to remove any residue and dirt.

Nourisher

  1. Apply a small amount of leather nourisher onto a soft cloth.
  2. Gently rub the cloth over the leather surface in circular motions.  
  3. Let the nourisher absorb for 3 minutes.
  4. Wipe the leather with a clean cloth to remove any excess product.

Storage

  1. Keep your smooth leather bag out of direct sunlight and away from heat to prevent fading, drying, or cracking. 
  2. Store in a cool, dry place. 
  3. Keep the bag in its dustbag to protect it from dust and scratches. 
  4. Avoid plastic covers, as they can trap moisture and damage the leather. 
  5. Never put smooth leather in the washing machine, as water and detergents can cause irreversible damage and discolouration.
